Who We Help
The Friends of the Homeless operate the Fareham and Gosport Basics Bank which provides help to anyone going through a short crisis or in need of emergency support.
If you are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, we can help you.
How We Help
The Fareham and Gosport Basics Bank aim to provide practical help to anyone facing a short run crisis by providing food and toiletries.
These services can be accessed only through our referral agencies. There are over 150 of these and they include Citizens Advice in both Fareham and Gosport, Fareham Borough Council Housing Office and Social Services, Gosport Borough Council Housing Office and Social Services, Health Visitors, Schools Outreach Workers, Doctors’ Surgeries, Probation Service, Women’s Refuges, Two Saints, Avalon/Inclusion and many others.
